Pokemon Go Subreddit loses nearly 11,000 subscribers in 10 days! People fed up with the crying!

That’s right and it has nothing to with Niantic.

The complaining, crying, and downright incessant whining has caused many to leave the subforum because users are realizing the world does not revolve around Reddit’s culture, nor is it representative of the populations’ opinions and/or views.

Reddit user Zertoz posted a picture showing Reddit’s Pokemon Go subforum 10,000 subs higher on 11/05/2016.

Many speculate various reasons for this change (that I will not get into as forum politics is not my area), but one user by the name of PsychoSean adequately summed up the issue:

This. This. This.

I still like the game but the community really makes me shy away from the sub more and more. Justifying cheating, [bitc***] at Niantics for everything, demanding ridiculous stuff…like the complete opposite of what this sub was in the beginning.

No more stories about people meeting up, setting up little stands with drinks or stuff like that.

Only “BUHUHU WHURE US MU TRUCKU???????????????????????????” and “OMFG GIVE US MORE INCUBATORS FROM POKESTOPS YOU GREEDY PEOPLE OMFGWTFSCHNITZEL!” or “WHY CANT I CATCH POKEMANZ ANYMORE IN MY DRIVING CAR???????????????????”

Although I do believe there are valid complaints to be made, such as the gym system’s recent update, I must agree with the overall theme: People are tired of the constant crying and the 10,000 user shift is a reflection of this.
